Sophie Badeaux is a writer, filmmaker, and creative strategist whose work explores myth, memory, transformation, and legacy. Raised between the artistic worlds of Hollywood and contemporary fine art, she developed an early appreciation for storytelling in all its forms. Growing up surrounded by creativity shaped her perspective and continues to influence her multidisciplinary work.

Sophie began her career in the film industry, taking on roles ranging from horse wrangler and production assistant to writer and creative collaborator. While studying film, she experienced a profound personal loss that redirected her path toward grief work and healing. This journey led her to become a Certified Grief Facilitator, deepening her understanding of storytelling as a tool for meaning, resilience, and connection.

In 2015, Sophie earned her Certificate in Media and Film from Santa Fe University of Art and Design. Today, she is developing original intellectual properties, including Myth & Marrow, while writing fiction, creating digital content, and preserving her family's artistic legacy. Her work bridges literature, film, visual art, and personal transformation, weaving timeless themes into contemporary stories.

Alongside her creative practice, Sophie has extensive experience in administration, higher education, and project coordination. She is available for freelance opportunities in writing, film production, creative development, content creation, and administrative support.
